FHS SCHOOL COUNCIL MINUTES

October 20, 2025

Attendance: Lilly Allietta, Jolie Drury, Mike Feeney, Emma Floyd, Alan Harris, Bridget McLane, Nora
McManamon, Emilianna Pachano, Avila Rudd

The meeting opened at 3:30 pm, with a welcome activity and purpose of the School Council.
The student voting team for today’s meeting: Emma, Emilianna, and Avila.
Today’s Agenda was reviewed and approved.
Discussed/Outlined:
School Council history and how it works in different states.
We will review the NEASC process for accreditation and our student handbook.
The January joint budget presentation meeting.
Meeting overview / purposes.
Navigate the Future and its impact.
Individual reasons for membership
The tension between talking and doing.
Conflict of Interest training for adults to complete was reviewed.
Election of Co-Chair - Jolie Drury is willing; will take vote at next meeting.
FHS Calendar is linked to the agenda.
Future Agenda Item Ideas:
Emilianna shared: World Fair, cultural fair, Hispanic Heritage month, perhaps through/expand the/
Ambassador club, also perhaps through Spanish and French Honor Societies. Dr. Harris recommended
she work with the Ambassador Club as school leadership supports this idea.
